NOC of Ukraine and Estonia signed Memorandum of Cooperation

The President of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine Sergey Bubka and his colleague from the National Olympic Committee of Estonia Neinar Seli signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in sports between organizations. The procedure took place In Tbilisi before the start of the XIII Summer European Youth Olympic Festival (EYOF).

The signing was witnessed by the XIII Festival guests - representatives of the of Israel, Armenia, Greece, Slovenia, Norway, Latvia, Bulgaria, Albania, Macedonia, United Arab Emirates, Pakistan, Cameroon, Sudan and Singapore.

"I am confident that our initiative to sign Memorandum of Understanding during the important prestigious sports forum will be supported by our colleagues from other countries in the future. Our cooperation will involve not only Olympic Committees, but as well National federations, educational institutions, Olympic academies. I believe our constructive collaboration and mutual understanding will promote the development of sport, education of new champions and healthy youth", - said Sergey Bubka.

"We are very grateful to Sergey Bubka for the excellent idea of ​​signing the agreement in the presence of sports management around the world. We are ready for cooperation in different directions, because sport is not only a joint celebration of success, but regular support and help", - Neinar Seli mentioned.

According to the document Olympic Committees will strengthen sports relations between the two countries, exchange of knowledge and research in the field of sports medicine, physical education and experience in organizing sports events.

As part of this agreement will be the exchange of sports delegations, attract athletes, coaches and sports specialists experts to participate in training camps and competitions in various sports in both countries. It is also planned to interact on various programs, including sports for all, sports medicine, anti-doping activities.
