Serghiy Kulish won first medla for Ukraine team at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio. 23-old shooter placed second in the 10 meters air rifle competition scoring 204.6 points and facing successful shoot-off in the final.
Young shooter, who won bronze medal in the same discipline at the inaugural 2010 Youth Olympics in Singapore, said after the final, 'I tried to do everything as usual and control my emotions and avoid mistakes, never thinking about Olympic medal. I've been just doing my job. But now I am absolutely happy. It is every athlete's dream to make it at the Olympics, and many do not even dream about winning a medal. I've done it, which means a lot for me'.
