Today at the Olympic House joint program of the National Olympic Committee and the «Adecco» company was presented. The main goal is to promote social adaptation athletes after sports career.
For several years "Adecco" with the Athletes 'Commission of the International Olympic Committee launched a program «IOC Athletes' Career Program», which was previously headed by NOC President Sergey Bubka. Since 2005 when It was initiated in 35 countries.
This year, between "Adecco" and National Olympic Committee signed a cooperation agreement, under which the company will help our Olympians, who finished sports, to realize themselves in a new field.
"It's nice that this important event is happening today in our Olympic House - welcomed the participants NOC President Sergey Bubka. - From my own experience I know how difficult it is to find yourself after the athletic career. This is a problem not only in our society, but also abroad. I am grateful to the company "Adecco" and personally Patrick Glennon for close cooperation. NOC of Ukraine Athletes Commission established first group of Ukrainian athletes who become pioneers of that program. The list comprised 12 Olympians: Irina Merleni, Natalia Dobrynska, Olga Korobka, Elena Tsyhytsya, Katerina Ksenofontova, Antonina Efremova, Natalia Godunko, Roman Schurenko, Natalia Lyapina, Roman Zozulya, Alexander Vorobyov and Roman Hontyuk.
