NOC and Dow to hold a competition among students to identify the best ecological project Dow and National Olympic Committee (NOC) of Ukraine will identify the best ecological project among students of 5th and 6th grades of Ukraine. The teams-winners of the All-Ukrainian sporting event of NOC called “New Leader” will take part in the contest. The teams will elaborate and send their projects to the jury of the competition by February 10, 2017. The projects should identify the areas for improvement in the schools referring to one of the announced directions: energy efficiency, usage of Dow innovative water purification technologies and general upgrade of the schools.
49 Year Old Shooter Received ‘Athlete of the Month’ Award Celebrated 49 year old shooter Mykola Milchev received ‘Athlete of the Month of October’ Award from Ukraine’s NOC President Sergey Bubka. Milchev who won Olympic gold medal in Sydney 2000, was honoured by NOC experts who appreciated his performance at the ISSF World Cup Final in shotgun in Rome, Italy. Ukrainian finished at the second place out of 10 world best rated shooters at skeet.

EOC General Assembly Voted the Host Cities of 2021 EYOFs Vuokatti, Finland, and Kosice, Slovakia, awarded the right to host Winter and Summer European Youth Olympic Festivals in 2021. The decision was made at the European Olympic Committees’ General Assembly in Minsk, Belarus.
