Earth, water and air. 2014 Olympic Day in Kyiv Kyiv, Ukraine’s capital hosted today the annual Olympic day celebration dedicated to this year’s 120th anniversary of the International Olympic Committee. The organizers declared the 2014 Olympic day as an aspiration for peace and unity of Ukraine.
Turkey’s Athletics Federation president visited Olympic House in Kyiv Mr Fatih Cintimar, President of the Turkey’s Athletics Federation, along with Alper Kasapoglu, World Olympians Association Board member, met Sergey Bubka, who is Ukraine’ NOC President, at his office at the Ukrainian Olympic House in Kyiv.
Ukraine has officially confirmed its participation at the inaugural 2015 European Games Sergey Bubka, Ukraine National Olympic Committee President, has signed the formal confirmation letter of the Ukraine team’s participation for the inaugural European Games in Baku, Azerbaijan, in June 2015. A letter signed in attendance of the great number of local media is addressed for EOC President Mr Patrick Hickey.

His personal coach Gennady Sartynskyy was recognized as the best coach of the last spring month.

Cyclists from 12 nations who arrived in Ukraine’s capital to take part in the international Race Horizon Park-1 rode city’s streets to demonstrate their support to Ukraine and show that Kyiv is safe, peaceful and friendly place.
