Earth, water and air. 2014 Olympic Day in Kyiv Kyiv, Ukraine’s capital hosted today the annual Olympic day celebration dedicated to this year’s 120th anniversary of the International Olympic Committee. The organizers declared the 2014 Olympic day as an aspiration for peace and unity of Ukraine.

Ukraine has officially confirmed its participation at the inaugural 2015 European Games Sergey Bubka, Ukraine National Olympic Committee President, has signed the formal confirmation letter of the Ukraine team’s participation for the inaugural European Games in Baku, Azerbaijan, in June 2015. Cyclists from 12 nations who arrived in Ukraine’s capital to take part in the international Race Horizon Park-1 rode city’s streets to demonstrate their support to Ukraine and show that Kyiv is safe, peaceful and friendly place.

National Olympic Committee raises additional funds of US$300,000 from the IOC for Ukrainian athletes The Ukraine National Olympic Committee has today received a positive letter from IOC President Mr Thomas Bach, at Sergey Bubka’s request, to provide financial aid for the Ukraine national team’s participation in international competitions and training camps.
