Ukraine’s artistic gymnastics team’ leader Oleg Verniaiev added prime Olympic medal to coutry's medal tally at Rio 2016 Games.

Athlete made an amazing performance place in parallel bars final scoring 16.041 points to win first gold medal for Ukraine in Rio. This is Oleg's second medal at the 2016 Games after he took silver in artistic gymnastic.

Sergey Bubka, President of Ukraine's National Olympic Committee congratulated Olympic champion and his personal coach Hennady Sartynskyi on this wonderful achievement, remarking Verniaiev's high skills, fighting spirit as a result of effective cooperation between athlete and coach. Bubka wished them further success in sport career and personal life.
