The brilliant result was demonstrated by our young athlete Yaroslava Mahuchikh at the XIV summer European Youth Olympic Festival in the Hungarian Gyor.

Yaroslava takes the highest step on the podium with the result of 1.89 m.

“Of course, I am very glad to get this medal! I can say that I traveled to Gyor only for a golden award. After the U-18 World Cup, where I also won the "gold", I wanted to show good result. I’m quite satisfied with 189 cm.”  

The President of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine Sergey Bubka congratulated the champion, the coaching staff of the national team and the whole Ukrainian team with remarkable achievements, having noted the true sporting character and wishing all young athletes success and victory!
