2 500 athletes aged 14 to 18 during the week took part in a memorable celebration of sport. Ukrainian team was represented by 44 athletes in 6 sports - athletics, judo, canoeing and kayaking, cycling, gymnastics and swimming.

Young Ukrainian Olympians won 8 awards – 3 gold, 4 silver and 1 bronze.
