Ukrainians won 3 medals

Yesterday Ukrainian athletes won 3 Olympic medals.

Kateryna TARASENKO, Nataliya DOVGODKO, Anastasiia KOZHENKOVA, Yana DEMENTIEVA won Olympic gold in Women's Quadruple Sculls Rowing.

The medals were awarded by IOC Executive Board Member, NOC of Ukraine President and legendary athlete Sergey BUBKA.

"We were confident in our strength. In the same way we won all our previous competitions this season. At the start we have 4 hearts, after the finish – one common", - said Yana DEMENTIEVA.

Olena KOSTEVYCH got second bronze medal in shooting (25m Pistol Women).

"Final was really very difficult. In comparison with previous discipline just ARUNOVICH and me qualified for final again. This is not my favorite discipline, but last year I succeeded to make it much better. I'm very delighted with my results", - KOSTEVYCH commented.

Olympic Champion in Beijing in women saber team competition Olga KHARLAN was the third in individual Olympic tournament.

"It was a moment when I thought everything lost. But I tried to concentrate. I felt the support of Ukrainian fans, I heard everything and it helped", - Olympic bronze medalist mentioned.
