National Olympic Committee of Ukraine President Sergey Bubka at the meeting of our Olympians at the airport "Boryspil" shared his impressions of the Olympic Games in London.

"It was very difficult Games for us. The competition was extremely high and tight. I am pleased with the performance of our athletes who have accomplished in these circumstances and presented Ukraine in good level. 18 medals is a really good performance. The same quantity of medals we had at the world championships in the Olympic events a year before these Games.

By the way, we were greeted by the International Olympic Committee President Jacques Rogge for our achievements at the Games in London", - shared with representatives of the media Sergey Bubka.

"The Olympic Games gather the strongest athletes of the Planet. It is difficult to predict anything. There are a variety of surprises - both positive and negative. In addition to awards our athletes 10 times stayed at the step of the Olympic podium. It reflects the great potential of Ukrainian Olympians", - said NOC of Ukraine President.

"Now it is time to think about the Olympic Games in Rio-2016. In September or October the National Olympic Committee will initiate All-Ukrainian Congress of Sports, which will bring together leaders of our country, sports professionals from different organizations and regions. The purpose of this forum is to work out a global concept for further development of the national sport and a clear strategy for preparing for these Olympics, "- said Sergey Bubka.
