The Board of Trustees of the Mohammed bin Rashid al-Maktoum Creative Sports Award named the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine as the best sport establishment in recognition to its constant activity aimed to the promotion of sports.

This victory shows the appreciation of the NOC of Ukraine and its important role in promotion of the Olympic ideals.

According to the Awards regulations the participants were to introduce their activities and the documents to confirm the implementation of the announced projects.

The NOC of Ukraine presented the events that were initiated by and held under its support.

In particular, the question is about its traditional and favorite projects as "Olympic Day", "Ukrainian Olympic Lesson, "Pole Vault Jumps on the Square", "Olympic Stork", "Olympic Corner", "Olympic book," All-Ukrainian Award Ceremony "Heroes of Sports Year ', the photography exhibition "Sports Moments" and so on. Most of them are unique and have no analogues in the world.

The National Olympic Committee of Ukraine is proud of its achievements in educational activities, including the publication of the Olympic literature and its free distribution to secondary schools across the country.

Of course, the sports achievements of our athletes in the international arena, including the young generation do not go unnoticed as well.

"We would like to express our sincere gratitude to you and all the team members of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine for participation in the completion of the 4th Edition of the MBR Award 2012 and are delighted to congratulate you for winning an Appreciation Award," Dr.Ahmad Al Sharif, Secretary General of the Award said in his congratulation letter.

The Awarding Ceremony will take place on January 6, 2013 in Dubai.
