Our biathlon team won mixed relay at the XI Winter European Youth Olympic Festival, which takes place in the Romanian Brasov! Anastasia Merkushyna, Anastasia Nychyporenko, Anton Mygda and Maxim Ivko climbed the highest step of the podium!

"It is very difficult to wait for the finish of our guys. My emotions are incredible. Of course, our results in individual races gave hope for a positive result in the relay. Perhaps in my sporting life I had never felt such kind of joy "- Anastasia Nechyporenko shared her impressions immediately after the finish.

National Olympic Committee President Sergey Bubka congratulated all athletes, coaches, management and staff of the Federation of biathlon.

This is the second medal for our young Olympians at the Festival - yesterday Anastasia Merkushyna got bronze medal in sprint.
