8 October the President of the NOC of Ukraine, IOC Executive Board Member and the Chairman of the IOC Athletes Commission, Senior Vice President of the International Association of Athletics Federations, the Olympic Champion Sergey Bubka had a meeting with the IOC Member in Morocco, Council Member of the International Association of Athletics Federations, first Arab Olympic Champion Nawal El Moutawakel. The guest got acquainted with the NOC headquarters and staff structure.

Sergey Bubka informed his colleague on the main priority areas in the NOC activity as well as on the last projects, in particular the Olympic Day Run and All-Ukrainian Olympic Lesson. By the way, the latter was of special interest to Mrs. El Moutawakel because, as she noted, this event has no analogues in the world and is very valuable as a new experience.
During their meeting the IOC members also discussed the latest events of the Olympic Movement and preparation for the Olympic Games in Beijing 2008.
