Numerous Ukrainian star Olympians took part at the launch of the second edition of National ‘DO LIKE OLYMPIANS’ Flash Mob on Wednesday, September 10th, at front of the Coca Cola Ukraine Ltd headquarters in Kyiv.

The first season of the 'DO LIKE OLYMPIANS' project launched on December 2013 involved more than 130 schools and over 8 500 thousand kids within the country. New edition of the Olympic flash mob will run between September 2014 and May 2015 involving new participants from even more regions and arranging more communication between star athletes and their fans.

Sergey Bubka commented on the event saying, 'Our Olympic flash mob could not happen without the support of NOC's longtime friends and partners from Coca Cola Ukraine Ltd. We cooperate since 1996 bringing a lot of social and sport-oriented programmes into life. 'Olympic Day', Olympic Lesson', 'Sport Heroes of the Year' Award, 'Olympic Stork' and other projects came as a result of this cooperation. With all gratitude for supporting us in this troublesome time I sign a new partnership deal with Coca Cola hoping to launch a new era of our cooperation'.

Roger Gauntlett, Coca Cola Ukraine General Manager, said after signing the deal, 'Our company and Coca Cola Foundation supports more than 280 programmes for sport and active lifestyle in 115 countries over the globe. Our key strategic partner in Ukraine is National Olympic Committee – we share the same values and philosophy of the active healthy life and promotion of sport. We look forward for more new exciting projects'.

Coca Cola is the longest standing partner of the Olympic movement and IOC starting its sponsorship tradition in 1928 before the Summer Olympic Games in Amsterdam.

Ukraine NOC's history of cooperation with Coca Cola dates back to 1996 when Olympic team Ukraine performed at its first Summer Games in Atlanta, USA.
