Olympic Day

About the project

It has become a cherished tradition around the world to celebrate Olympic Day on the anniversary of the founding of the International Olympic Committee (23 June 1894). Olympic Day is a family sports festival where everyone can find an activity to their liking and feel like a true Olympian. 

The sports festival takes place on the main streets of cities, in parks, at children’s camps and in stadiums across different regions, thus covering the whole of Ukraine.

Alongside ordinary citizens, Olympic Day is also attended by celebrated athletes, Olympic champions and medallists, and winners of world and European championships.

If health issues or the lack of a required medical certificate prevent anyone from taking part in the athletics races, they can join in the numerous competitions, quizzes and prize draws.

All participants can find something of interest and embrace the Olympic ideals and values.
