Erasmus+ Projects
About the Projects
In 2023, upon invitation and with the support of international partners, the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine applied for and became a participant in several projects under the European Union's Erasmus+ Programme in the fields of education, training, youth, and sport:

Align
Advancing Leadership, Inclusion, and Gender Equality in Neighbourhood Sports with Europe. A project focused on strengthening inclusive leadership, promoting gender equality, and enhancing transparent and ethical governance across sports organisations in Ukraine, Moldova, and the European Union.

Value Compas
Promoting Democratic Values in and through Sport in Europe. A project focused on strengthening democratic values in sport by promoting respect, equality, diversity, solidarity, and responsible governance across European sports organisations.

BeActive
A project focused on promoting physical activity, healthy lifestyles, and community engagement by encouraging people of all ages and backgrounds to participate in sport and exercise as part of the European Week of Sport initiative.

SGG
Solidarity through Great Governance of EuroHockey Member National Associations. A project focused on strengthening governance, organisational development, and cooperation among EuroHockey member associations.

H.A.L.F.A/H.E.A.L
Healthy Accessible Lifestyle For All. Improving active well-being and promoting healthy lifestyles among young people in disadvantaged communities.

RTO
Road to the Olympics for Ukrainian Athletes. Supporting Ukrainian athletes in enhancing their performance through a dedicated programme aimed at developing and improving their cognitive skills.

OCLP
Olympic Committees Leadership Programme. Promoting good governance and leadership in Olympic sports, while strengthening the capacities and competencies of National Sports Federations.
These projects represent the first experience of cooperation between the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine and the Erasmus+ Programme in the implementation of international sport development initiatives.
The projects will be funded by the European Union throughout 2024–2025, with total funding amounting to tens of thousands of euros.
