Where the participants of the 2027 EYOF will stay and compete: an overview of the festival venues
March 29th, 2026

The upcoming 2027 Winter European Youth Olympic Festival will take place across several picturesque mountain locations in Romania. The sports venues are located in the towns and resorts of Brașov, Poiana Brașov, Predeal, Râșnov, Fundata, Sfântu Gheorghe and Târgu Secuiesc.
To ensure quick access to the venues and comfortable accommodation for the young athletes, the organisers will set up two separate Athletes’ Villages:
- Poyana-Brasov Athletes’ Village: This venue will host athletes competing in the Poyana-Brasov area. It will be home to representatives of ice hockey, alpine skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing and ski jumping. The resort offers excellent facilities and is close to the competition venues.
- Keile-Gradistei Athletes’ Village: Situated in a mountainous area, this village will host athletes competing in biathlon, short track, figure skating and ski mountaineering.
Both villages will feature catering areas, medical and recovery centres, as well as direct transport links to the training and competition venues.
As a reminder, the 18th Winter European Youth Olympic Festival (EYOF) will take place in Romania from 14 to 21 February 2027.
