A vibrant celebration of sport and Olympic values took place in the Poltava region

On 26 July, the Start Stadium in Zinkiv hosted a vibrant sporting event — Olympic Day — organised by the Poltava Regional Branch of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine. The event brought together adults and children in arm wrestling, tug-of-war, relay races and other activities, giving participants a positive experience, a sense of team spirit and a real sporting buzz.
The event programme included arm wrestling, tug-of-war, barbell exercises, relay races, quizzes and competitions. Nine teams put their skills to the test, including young athletes aged under 14. The competitors proved once again that sport is not just about strength, but also about support, drive and unity.
All participants received commemorative prizes and awards from the Poltava Regional Branch of the NOC of Ukraine – cups, sports balls, badminton sets and certificates.
