European Week of Sport has kicked off in Skalat, in the Ternopil region

The pupils learnt about the key ideas behind #BeActive: staying active, keeping on the move, taking the initiative in their studies and daily lives, and paying attention to sport and all forms of physical activity.

The highlight of the event was the traditional Olympic quiz. The pupils enthusiastically answered questions about global and Ukrainian sporting achievements, Olympic records, and the characteristics and rules of various sports. They demonstrated in-depth knowledge and a genuine interest in the world of sport. Standing alongside them, teachers Volodymyr Bulbin and Olga Danelyuk actively cheered them on and offered their support. 

At the end of the event, all participants received commemorative souvenirs from the NOC of Ukraine and posed for a group photo to mark the occasion.
